The problem addressed in this study is the analysis that takes on the Heat Sterilizer Horizontal Type, Capacity 13 Tons (TBS / JAM) at PT. SUMBER INDAH PERKASA. The researcher aims to determine how the work process stew kettle (sterilizer), to find out how the temperature setting on the kettle boiled (sterilizer) and know how the system pressure setting on the kettle boiled (sterilizer).

The method used in this study is the use of multiple methods of data retrieval, among other things: 1). Research into the library by reading a variety of literature to know the theory related to the problem

which will be discussed. 2). The research field of research that is directly on the object of research done by several methods including observation data search. 3) Interview .This method that the authors conducted interviews or orally FAQ related to research on those who know the problems that are happening. 4). Method of documentation is the author of a number of data gathering by citing documents and records relating to the stages of the problem under study. heat analysis is needed on the type of horizontal sterilizer capacity of 13 tons (tbs / h) less perfect. due to temperature control in the sterilizer is installed can not run with evektif that results from boiling less than perfect
